Good News to Share

In this project we seek to raise at least £10,000 to provide Bibles to the Presbyterian Church in Nigeria to build up and support youth outreach.

This should be at the heart of what every BB Officer strives to do and we want to encourage boys to share in delivering this task.

Our support has in the past helped the Board of World Mission to meet a wide range of needs. The provision of bibles for young people in Nigeria is no less important and is a practical means of helping them develop a full and meaningful life. Many young people in Nigeria are eager to expand their understanding of the Christian faith but are held back by not having a bible of their own. This projects helps to address one of the greatest wishes.

The project is run in conjunction with the Scottish Bible Society who have provided useful and relevant material for all sections of your BB Company. Copies have been distributed to all BB Companies in Scotland but resources can also be downloaded from the Scottish Bible Society web site.

It is up to Companies to devise exciting ways of raising support. We would like to hear what you have done and allow you to share your ideas with others.

Only by working together can we achieve our target. Every donation, no matter the size, counts.
